APC Chairman Addresses Nigerians As Party Marks Two-Year Anniversary

The All Progressives Congress national chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun, addressed Nigerians as the party marked its two-year anniversary on Friday, July 31.
Speaking at the event organized in Abuja specially for the occasion, the official urged people to be guided by the examples of the APC founding fathers and thus move the nation forward, PM News reports.
He further stressed the importance for all the party member to work hard to fulfill the APC visions and dreams.
“Let us learn from the fact that they put their personal interest at abeyance so that national interest would be at the fore.  They were united and determined. They forgave one another during the process of disagreeing to agree. They spent sleepless nights so that we could breathe the air of freedom.
“The good news is that their sacrifice paid off at the end of the day. Victory came. The victory was not accidental, we all worked hard for it.
“I call on you today to emulate those qualities above as we mark the formation of our great party two years ago. For us to continuously be victorious we must not rest on our oars. As you will agree with me for you to constantly be successful, you must work hard and focus on retaining your victory.”
The chairman said that it was time for the APC to “plant the seeds of change” all over the country to ensure quick development and prosperity.
“We will drive the cause of attaining unity among the support groups and work towards the progress of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.”
