Flying Eagles Star Enmeshed In Transfer Saga

Flying Eagles forward Bernard Bulbwa is the heart of transfer saga which may likely have the world football governing body FIFA step in.

According to a report on Africanfootball.com, Bulbwa’s former team, Shuttle Sports Academy are set to ask FIFA to cancel the player’s contract in his new side Esperance of Tunisia following the non-payment of a transfer fee of $180,000 for his acquisition.
It was gathered that Shuttle Sports Academy are yet to receive the transfer fee agreed for Bulbwa transfer to Tunisia even after the academy directed the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to release the player’s International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Despite Esperance claiming they have transferred the cash to the Academy’s account, Shuttle Sports Academy has maintained they are yet to receive the money.
A source from the Academy team said: “It is a very bad piece of business for the academy because Esperance have not been honest in their dealings with them in respect of the transfer of Bernard.
“The way it is even going, they may even lose the player for nothing unless they act fast and decisively.

A similar scenario occurred when Nigeria premier league club Dolphins only received half of the transfer fee on striker Emem Eduok from Esperance.
Enyimba halted Kingsley Sokari’s move to Esperance after the Tunisian club failed to pay $400,000 agreed for the midfielder’s transfer.
