Graphic Photos: How Boko Haram Members Decapitated Nigerian Police Officer

Members of the deadly Boko Haram sect have decapitated a yet to be identified Nigerian police officer.
The group has issued a new video as a response to President Muhammadu Buhari’s pledge to crush the insurgents by December of 2015.
The militants showed the attacks on Yobe and Borno states as well as seized weapons and tanks.
The members of the group also slit the throat of a policeman, who knelt in front of three Boko Haram fanatics – two of whom point AK47s at his head, and advised Muslims to join in the fight against the current administration.
The video then cuts to reveal his decapitated body lying motionless on the floor.
It should be mentioned that the man, who spoke on behalf of the sect, was not the Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau.
Islamic State, group, which controls large areas of Syria and Iraq, accepted a vow of commitment from Boko Haram, who were responsible for the deaths of over 10,000 in Nigeria in 2014, in March this year.
The footage, released weeks after Boko Haram rebranded itself Islamic State’s West African Province (ISWAP), shows some of the insurgents fighting with presumed Nigerian soldiers.
The insurgents on Monday July 27, reportedly decapitated three villagers in a weekend raid in Cameroon.
Five African nations agreed to form a coalition to counter the insurgency.  A coalition force of about 8,700 from Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Benin are expected to begin operations before the end of next month.
