Chelsea’s Portugese Manager, Jose Mourinho has refused to bow under public scrutiny for the way he blasted Chelsea’s Medic Dr Eva Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn.
The Special one during media meet stood by his criticism of both medical staff and revealed that both will be left out of the bench from the Sunday’s match at Manchester City.
Mourinho had last weekend criticised Carneiro and Fearn after they left his side with nine men against Swansea by treating Eden Hazard.
Mourinho explained that he met with the medical staff on Thursday and said that they all have a “good relationship.”
“Jon Fearn and Dr Carneiro will not be on the bench,” said Mourinho. “But that doesn’t mean they cannot be in the future. It is my decision. “
Asked if he regretted his outburst, Mourinho said he had an “open relationship” with his medical staff that was “open to disagreement.”
Chelsea’s game with Swansea ended 2-2 with Chelsea’s goalkeeper, Courtouis getting red carded after taking down Gomis.
