President Muhammadu Buhari today, August 1, wished a former Minister of Health and Social Services, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, a happy 75th birthday anniversary.
According to a statement made by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, Buhari saluted the former minister as he attained the milestone of three score and fifteen years. The President praised “his unwavering commitment to the socio-economic development of Nigeria over the years and his outstanding support for several national and international developmental goals.”
Buhari also commended Adelusi-Adeluyi’s remarkable entrepreneurial and leadership skills which propelled him to the chairmanship of the Oodua Investment Group and also led to transformation of his well known Juli Pharmacy into the first indigenously promoted company to be quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
“The President joins Prince Adelusi-Adeluyi’s family, friends and associates across the country in celebrating the renowned promoter of commerce who has also attained enviable heights in other areas of human endeavour as the pioneer President of the Nigerian Academy of Pharmacy, former National President of the Alumni Association of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, and first District Governor of Rotary International in Nigeria.
“He wishes Prince Adelusi-Adeluyi very happy 75th birthday celebrations and prays that Almighty God will grant him many more years of inspirational service to his community and country,” the statement read.
