Saraki’s Son Becomes Youngest Ever Club Chairman

Oluwaseni Saraki, the second child of senate president, Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Sunday, 10th of August became the youngest ever chairman of a professional football club.

The law graduate, 22, is now the Chairman of the Ilorin based Nigeria National League side, Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club (ABS FC).
Club chairman, Jimoh Bashir in a press release said Saraki was appointed chairman after a meeting with the new Chairman and the general manager of the club, Alloy Chukwuemeka in Lagos over the weekend.

Bukola Saraki however remains the proprietor of the club, while Seni Saraki assumes duty as the Chairman, and general manager Alloy Chukwuemeka retaining his position.
Seni Saraki has already said the necessary expertise to move the club forward will be engaged while he assured players and officials of the club that their salaries and incentives would be reviewed as the club management shows more interest in their welfare.

The also begged the team to work earn so it can earn a promotion ticket at the end of the on-going season. Saraki is expected to address the players, officials, coaches and supporters in Ilorin on assumption of duty when avaliable.
ABS FC formerly BUKOLA Babes is a privately owned football franchise in the NNL, and is owned by Senate President Saraki, who represents Kwara Central Senatorial district in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.
