Some governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday, September 8, paid a solidarity visit to the immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan, in his country home in Otuoke, Bayelsa state.
The governors who visited the former leader of the country included Olusegun Mimiko, the governor of Ondo state, Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers, and Seriake Dickson, the governor of Bayelsa.
Vanguard reports that four deputy governors represented their principals.

Earlier this week, Jonathan received Governor Dickson as a guest in his country home.
The ex-president endorsed the acting leader of the state, acknowledging his excellent track record of regular payment of salaries, noticeable reduction of Bayelsa debt profile and infrastructural improvements.
Meanwhile, the former first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, who has recently reconciled with Dickson, directed all her loyalists in the state to work selflessly for the PDP and support the governor in the upcoming election.
