People were left in shock after a massive Whale shark weighing about 1.5 tons was discovered dead on the coast of eastern China's Shandong province.
The incident happened on the 23rd of August. Experts were sent to the scene to take samples of the dead animal.
According to People's Daily, China, Whale sharks seldom approach coastal regions, which indicates that this shark might have been ill prior to its death.
