APC postponed Edo election to perfect rigging plans - Dokpesi

Reform or die, Dokpesi cautions PDP

Raymond Dokpesi has said no matter the number of times the Edo governorship is postponed, that nothing will stop the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from defeat.

Dokpesi, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairmanship aspirant, pointed that the postponement of the election was to make room for the election to be rigged in favour of the APC which has been rejected by the people.
He therefore called on Edo electorate to stick with the PDP candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, who has come to salvage the state from the misrule of a failed APC party.
This is contained in a statement issued by Omor Bazuaye, Dokpesi’s spokesman.
The PDP chieftain described as a shame the postponement of Edo governorship election originally fixed on September 10, noting that it was APC way of subjecting the country into rule of impunity and abuse of power.
According to Dokpesi, what the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) only succeeded in doing by the shift was to postpone PDP’s victory and delay the unavoidable defeat of the ruling APC in the state.
