PHOTOS: MNJTF Head Visits Newly-Appointed Army Chief Buratai

The Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF)’s top official, Engineer Sanusi Imran Abdullahi, on Thursday, July 23, visited the chief of army staff, Major General Tukur Yusuf Buratai.
According to the Daily Post, Abdullahi, who is the task force’s head of missions and executive secretary of the Lake Chad Basin Commission congratulated the recently appointed chief, and expressed optimism that the insurgency would soon be put to an end in Nigeria.
He praised the national army and pledged full support and cooperation from the task force in the ongoing fight against Boko Haram.
Buratai, on his part, thanked Abdullahi for the visit and expressed appreciation for the backing.
Senior officers, including Major General Mohammed Tasiu Ibrahim and Major General Alani, were also present during the meeting at the Army Headquarters.
