Nigeria’s former minister of finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is currently in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethopia, attending a conference on financing for development in Africa.
Okonjo-Iweala who took to her twitter page to announce her participation in the conference as one of the key speakers, informed her followers that the conference will focus more on getting additional resources for women empowerment in Africa.
The two-time Nigerian finance minister also posed with women from other countries for a picture at the venue of the conference.
The immediate past coordinating minister of the economy is currently having a running battle with the Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole.
Oshiomole has accused the Okonjo-Iweala of squandering $1billion from Nigerian coffers to fund the election campaign of former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
But Okonjo-Iweala fired back through her spokesman, Paul Nwabiukwu, describing Oshiomole’s accusations as another false and baseless accusation.

Just recently, the governor accused the ex-minister of being economical with the truth on how the Excess Crude Account fund was spent by the federal government while the Jonathan administration held sway.
