Kano Pillars jinxed by Babaganaru's Return

After achieving so much with the club in his first spell, common sense ought to have dictated to leave his legacy intact, but the lure of financial inducement appeared too much to turn a blind eye to, at the expense of his exemplary previous achievements.

He is now tagged with the label of the manager at the helm, when the club suffered its first home defeat in 12years. Full credit to Nasarawa united who raised their game to beat their controversial ex-manager and end the unbeaten home run in the Glo Premier League match. Indeed, it is ‘Karma’ in full swing.

The defending champion of the league are reduced to laughing stock of the 2015-16 season. With the Governor sacking the entire Board, Management, and the technical crew for shambolic performances. Despite that, much difference were not made, and the team dropped from a step down on the table.
The team which has won the Nigeria Premier League for a four consecutive time was previously eliminated from the ongoing 2015 Federations Cup.
However, the team’s poor performance might not be a problem of Coach, rather that of fear. The team bus was attacked by armed bandits on their to play an away match, when the league season newly started, psychologically they were affected as some of the players were shot at. Last weekend, Gambo Mohammed, the team’s captain played his first match after the full recovery from the bullet wounds he sustained.
The team also had a short run at the 2015  CAF’s champions league and were bulldozed out of the continental tournament shortly after the attack.
Drastic action and reaction from the board down, are now sought by their faithful supporters who have endured a club in turmoil for some time now.
