Veteran Comedian Baba Sala Discharged From Ibadan Hospital

The veteran comedian Moses Adejumo, popularly known as Baba Sala, who recently asked for pounded yam while on a hospital bed, has been discharged from the hospital.

The renowned comedian was discharged yesterday Monday, August 24, from the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan after spending eight days there.
According to The Nation, the UCH spokesman, Deji Bobade disclosed that Baba Sala has fully recovered and that was why he was discharged.
Baba Sala was discharged at 3:47p.m after he recovered from the ailment. Baba Sala has fully recovered now and has been discharged. We gave him necessary medical care. If he’s not alright, we would not have discharged him”.
Also, one of his sons, Emmanuel Adejumo, took to his Facebook page and said: “To the glory of God, my daddy has been discharged from the hospital today. I want to use this opportunity to thank all friends and fan of my daddy for the love, care and concerns. He actually thanks everyone for all comments and love”.
On Saturday, August 22, members of Adejumo’s family debunked the constant rumour of the death of their father in the media.
In addition, the chief medical director at UCH, Prof. Temitope Alonge, said that the hospital would be responsible for the hospital bill of the comedian.
