There is a close balance in the senate as regards the number of PDP senators as well as APC senators paving way for the oppostion to select a Senate President, according to constitutional demands.
In the APC, a group of four prominent chieftains have been lined up to occupy the number 3 most powerful position in the country and they are:
(1) Senator Ahmed Lawan
(2) Senator Ali Ndume
(3) Senator Mohammed Shaaba Lafiagi
(4) Senator Abdullahi Adamu
In the opposition circle, here are some top 3 lawmakers tipped to replace Saraki in the event of his exit:
(1) Ike Ekweremadu
(2) David Mark
(3) Suleiman Adokwe
