Oldest S*x Toys in the World are Uncovered Inside 2,000-year-old Royal Tomb (Photos)

A collection of some of the world's oldest s*x toys have been excavated from a king's tomb, Daily Star UK reports.

A series of excavations of Han Dynasty graves, in China, revealed the ancient civilisation liked to have a good time and were very experimental.

Archaeologists in Jiangsu Province found several, large bronze dildos – and what appear to be butt plugs made of jade in a royal tomb.

It is believed the two hollow bronze dildos were worn as a strap-on in kinky sex games.

Museum curator Fan Zhang revealed the dildos were both bespoke and made for use.

He said: "Usable bronze dildos are still relatively rare finds though far from unheard of, and they are occasionally found in elite tombs.

"They were definitely made for use, and we can speculate based on their various bases how they were worn."

But researchers studying the butt plugs believe they were used in a more spiritual way than today.

Mr Zhang added: "The jade plugs are used to seal the body and keep in vital essences that can leak out during life and death.
"The most important orifice was the mouth, and we have a beautiful example of a mouth seal in the shape of a cicada in the exhibition."

The excavations also uncovered ceramics, vessels and loofahs.
